The Boat Club turned out to be rather more booked than originally thought so our friends in Nerdtopia have stepped up to the plate. Nerdtopia is a most excellent coffee shop with a cool back room just for gamers & a range of delicious and reasonably price fayre to keep our energy levels up but that means we cannot being our own food!!!! So we have reduced the price of entry to a mind bending minimum of £2.00
SATURDAY 24th March 2012 At The Belfast Boat Club.
On a strange and forbidden island, you and your team mates must fight for their survival and the chance to escape the Island of the Lost.
Island of the Lost is a one day wargame, where teams of players explore the strange island, battle threats, claim & control territory and then hopefully construct a machine to escape the dreaded island. Each team is a group four of player, with a player controlling a single adventuring party which consists of a single personality and several warriors who will travel across the island in search of adventure and a way to escape the island. The game will be using the very simple Song of Blades and Heroes rules for its many battles.
Island of the Lost will take place on Saturday 24th March at the Boat Club, doors open at 9:30am with the game starting at 10am and finishing at 4:30pm. The cost of the day will be £4 per person and there will be a honour system for those wishing to donate something extra to TableTopNorth.
All figures, terrain, dice and rules will be provided on the day, all you need to bring on the day is yourself, some enthusiasm and maybe some money for lunch and the vending machine.

Strange rumours abound… Queer lights have been seen in the sky these last three nights, the sound of chanting has been heard from the basements of the Old quarter and whispered voices speak of cloaked figures lurking in the dark…. Can you the brave citizens of Arkham get to the bottom of this mystery and stop the evils that lurk among its haunted streets??
Saturday 27th November 10.30 to 4.30 at the Boat club. All welcome. Price £3- per person, plus extra monies can be handed over for additional skills, spells and weapons!!!]]>

If you are an existing member of tabletopnorth.org attempting to log into the new website for the first time you will find that your password will not be recognised. This is because a different hashing algorithm is used in the software of the new site than was used in the phpbb forum that we used previously. Bottom line is that you are going to need a new password.
Please follow the forgotten password link in the login form on the left hand side of the home page. You will be asked to enter the email address that you originally registered with, and an email will be sent to you with instructions to change your password. The process is fairly painless.
If you cannot remember the email address that you registered to the site with, or have any other problems resetting your password I can help you. Drop me an email and I will set things right for you
Welcome to the new tabletopnorth website. I hope you like it. We have wanted to do a overhaul of the site for a while now and we siezed upon the opportunity when our long-serving webmasterissimo, Colin Tate, stepped down from the role a few months ago. I want to take this opportunity to thank Colin for the excellent support he has provided over the years and urge you all to remember that it was his vision and technical ability that allowed the club to setup the tabletopnorth website in the early days of the club, and though he left our shores to live in the States, Japan and now England, the miles made no difference to the quality of the service he gave us. Thank you Colin.
So what do you think? We have a fully integrated content management system and forum, with lots of bells and whistles including event calendar, private messaging system and photo gallery. There may not be a lot of content there right now but we will publishing lots of articles, photos and events in the coming weeks and months. Don't be surprised if you are approached to write something.
Of course it is early days yet and we want to make the website as good as we possibly can. Our vison is to be a resource to the whole of the gaming community in Northern Ireland and if you have any suggestions on how we can make this vision reality or any ideas on how we can make the site work for you please let us know. There is a Contact Us tab on the front page.
